And in the other semi the Knights 50s (2nd) will do battle with the Redbacks 50s for a spot in the grand final. Can the Knights 50s and 60s force an all Newcastle grand final, or will one or both the Neptunes and Redbacks win their way into the grand final? It’s anyone division ripe for the taking after a number of tight round games! The semis tap off at 9:10am, and then a 11:10am Grand Final.

Mens 40s – the mens 40s is a close division with 3 teams on equal points at the top of the ladder after 4 games today, all winning 3 games and dropping one. The Wolves are on top on for and against, ahead of the Redbacks and the Knights. These three teams are closely followed by the Neptunes just 2 points adrift. The Mudcrabs (Mudgee) and the Devils (Dubbo) are still in contention, with a battle of the western affiliates at 8:00 tomorrow morning, with the winner putting pressure on the Neptunes for a spot in the semi finals. The Redbacks and the Wolves will be doing battle at the same time as the Knights and the Neptunes for their final round games. Semi finals for the top 4 teams will be at 9:50am, and then the big dance at 11:50am. Can one of the western affiliates muscle their way into the finals and push the boys from the coast? Will the Wolves stay on top and take out the title?

Mixed Opens/Seniors- the Wolves sit on top of the table in this division also with 3 wins and a draw and will be difficult to catch given they have the bye in the morning, and already have a significant points differential. Followed by the Bandits, Redbacks and Knights. The reigning NSW State Cup Champion senior mixed crew from the Knights are also performing admirably, giving away close to 20 years on their counterparts.
