The 2018 Don Green Western Junior Championships has now wrapped up, and we can confirm that this was the largest #DGWJC on record. With 48 teams competing in this event, it showed that touch football in Western NSW is making its mark at the representative level.

Adding to this year’s team lists saw the inclusion of some new affiliates – Muswellbrook Mambas TA, Newcastle City Knights TA, and the Scone Breakers TA made their debut appearance at this years DGWJC, collectively fielding 10 teams in the prestigious event.

Mudgee Touch Association must be commended for their exceptional effort at this year’s event. After being awarded the hosting rights for the next three years, the Mudcrabs proved they know how to put on a show with exemplary playing fields plus outstanding service, food and drinks available throughout the tournament.
