Please be advised that the 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Hunter Western Hornets will be conducted at 5pm on Saturday 14 August 2024. Please note the 2024 AGM will be held both face to face at the Newcastle Harness Racing Club (the home of Newcastle City Touch Association) and online. (please refer to Part A attachment below for official notice).

Board/Executive positions to be declared vacant include Administration Director and Finance Director (please see Part F above for nomination form). Positions are to be voted on by eligible members attending the meeting and both positions are for a 2 year term.

Non-Executive General Committee roles are reviewed annually. Positions will be appointed by the Executive Committee following the AGM with nominations for positions closing on 11 September. For positions descriptions, please go to www.hornetstouch.com.au/position-descriptions. To indicate your interest in any of the below positions by completing the form (Part G – EOI – General Committee Positions).

The success of our region depends on the assistance of wonderful volunteers within our touch community. We would encourage any of our members to consider nominating for any of the above roles or getting in contact to discuss any assistance you can provide.
