Join our Management Committee

The Hunter Western Hornets Touch Association are always on the lookout for new and enthusiastic people to join our Management Committee. 

The following roles are at the conclusion of their two-year appointment, and we are once again seeking expressions of interest from individuals wishing to take on the below roles;

These positions are appointed by the Hornets Board at a date following the AGM. If you have any questions, please direct them to the Regional Director. 


Join Our Event Crew

In addition, we are also seeking interested people to help us deliver our ever growing Hornets Tournaments.

Event Volunteers play an integral role in the smooth delivery of our major touch football events throughout the year. 

Hornets event details can be found on our ‘Events‘ page.

With this years events being held in Maitland, Orange, Tuggerah and Nelson Bay – those capable of being in those locations would be ideal, but not a requirement. 

Event Volunteers do a range of roles, including, but not limited to; 

  • Ground Marshals
  • Photographers
  • Videographers
  • Game Supervisors
  • Game Results Officials
  • Operational Support Crew
  • Admin team
  • …and more
